Alright, we are focusing on one underrated... under appreciated... breakfast food.



Cereal. I mean, come on! You gotta love one box of this stuff. So, this is one of those threads where you type in two things to hurriedly improve your score for TdV, which ends soon compare opinions and such. What's your favorite cereal? What was it as a child?



I guess my favorite as a child totally not one here was Honey Nut Cheerios. Seriously, that stuff was awesome. It still is, but I find myself eating old people cereals like Honey Nut Bunches [insert dirty joke here], and Quaker Oats.

As a kid, I can always remember loving these count dracula cocoa puffs I would eat at my grandparents. I don't think they even make that kind anymore unfortunately... I still will always enjoy a bowl of cinnamon toast crunch or any cheerios.... Drinking the leftover milk in the bowl is delicious.

Cereal is great! I love eating it for all meals if I don't feel like cooking something.

I used to love cereals like Fruity Pebbles, Crunch Berries the list could go on and on. Now that I have gotten a little older and trying to watch my weight (I still love the aforementioned cereals every know and then) I eat stuff like Raisin Bran Crunch, Honey Bunches of oats, and Granola cereal. A great way to start your day and still be a little more healthy

I guess I am the only person here of the opinion that cereal is a crappy breakfast option. As convenient and quick as it is, it just bores me to death. Its not very filling, and it is cold...
I prefer to have warm food in the morning. A variety of protein, carbs and fibre. Such as an omelette which consists of eggs, mozzarella, peppers, onions, mushrooms, salt, pepper and basil. Along side some whole meal toast. A much more creative breakfast, which may require a bit more effort but its totally worth it in my opinion. However one thing I do miss from my childhood that you get with cereal is the chocolate flavoured milk at the end that you can just drink. But problem solved with nesquik milkshake
I am not saying cereal is bad. But I prefer a much more balanced, healthy and exciting breakfast. 
I would only have cereal in the morning if I am in a rush. No other reason to have it really...
