I once got kind of bored when I played Knuckles Chaotix which is a 32X game. As good of a game as it is its just gets kind of boring after a while. Cause there's almost no end  to the levels.

I go through periods of time where I can't even look at my consoles without grimacing. These periods have lasted anywhere from a few weeks to a few months. There was even a whole year where I barely played any video games what-so-ever. I mostly just worked and did other productive things.... it was a very dark time in my life.

I do get bored of games but usually I can just put it down for a couple of days and then carry on with it. 

There has only been one game that I've had a mental block about completing and that is Final Fantasy 13, Considering I bought this game the day it came out, and I never overplayed it, just became so damn boring and irritating that I play the game for like 1 hour every couple of months. I even bought 13-2 out on it's release date and refuse to play it until I have finished 13 which at this rate is never going to happen

Well, if you're talking about modern games, then I have to say COD gets boring after a while. I mean, every games is the same, which makes the campaign get boring after you passed it. The graphics hasn't changed since COD 4, they use a outdated game engine, and they copy a lot off of Halo, which pisses me off.
