Yeah, Hi-def shows more, and makes things look overall better. It's like asking whether you would rather have dial-up Internet or high-speed wireless Internet... it just seems redundant to go standard def.

I just prefer the standard it doesn't make a difference to me as long as it works and is cheap I'm completely fine with it high def really looks the same as standard.

I only had one HDMI cable, which I used for my xbox, so I watched tv in standard and it never bothered me. Then the cable guy came over and gave me a free HDMI cable and set it up for me...what a difference. I much perfer HD now.

Hi-D It is awesome and more enjoyable. Standard-D isn't so good quality. But Hi-D has 1080 pixels or 720 pixels. Standard-D 480 pixels, or 360 pixels. Very easy question. But if this is on Youtube and my laptop is running slow, I choose standard.

I have always liked high definition, it is so much clearer and makes the experience that much more awesome, it is not that I have anything against standard definition, but since I have fios and their is another channel for the same show but in high def, then    I will switch. High definition makes the movie or show look that much more awesome to watch. I got  a 60 inch vizio and it looks awesome with high definition on it, and the tv itself is incredibly slim to and it is not bulky and thick to play High def. The only thing about high definition in fios is that if you want to rent a movie, lets say it is 3.99 standard definition, it will probably be 6.99 in high def. We usually watch movies in high def when we rent, but occasionally we might watch them in standard definition and it still looks fine.

Kind of doesn't make a difference for me, graphics are the least of my worries.

I Would say High def. because of what's been said here. high def is more shaper easier on the eyes and more vibrant. Standard Is a bit blurry the colors are a bit harsh on some spots.
