Right now I would say The Walking Dead the game. I recently played the 5 episodes in a week, and to me I have never been so emotionally attached to a game/characters for long time, but this is one of the saddest games I have ever played. To me with the focus on story, it made the game more tense than I ever felt playing any other zombie game.

I haven't played many zombie games, but out of the ones I have I would say Resident Evil 5 was up there.
It had good motion and graphics, and the story was good.
And as many have said before me it beats Resident Evil 6.
Thou I rather enjoyed playing RE6 online with friends, playing solo didn't give the same satisfaction to me.
