I noticed there is a sub forum for conservative Christians which is really great, but what about liberals and atheists? Or people of other religious beliefs? Would it be possible to have forums for those people too? Personally I would really appreciate it and it would make me feel very welcome because I am a Liberal and agnostic. It would be great to have a sub forum where people with similar beliefs can discuss with me. Let me know what you think of this idea!

The main forum should have been religion so that it could branch off to multiple religions but I pitched that idea once and it got shot down Since this board gets a lot of traffic and has a diverse group of people it really needs to be renamed to religious discussion instead of christian conservatives.

Maybe someone could rent out a forum and make it an all religion discussion forum. I, myself, am a liberal Christian (which doesn't make sense to a lot of people). I have no problem with the Christian Conservative forum, but I think that there should be one that includes everything else at least. That way I might be able to talk to fellow Christian people who might not be strongly conservative or even liberal like myself.

I agree with Jigsaw. When I first saw this thread I immediately thought it would be better to simply change the forum to something like "Religion" instead of making it seem like mono-religious forum.

I agree we should have an all religion forum instead of a christian conservative forum. I am christian (don't know what type) but I am very tolerable about other religions. Ok so I believe in the christian religion but I have my own spin on it. (Yeah I'm a wack job lol!)

It is a good suggestion, but this is a VERY religious forum. Did you not notice that swearing is against the rules? Or that there is a huge cross right in the middle of each page? Davideo is a Christian and, like all Christians, wishes to bring his ideals on to everyone else.

Overall, I think that the forum has been a pretty accepting place... it's only been in those cases where the majority is against something that I have seen really lively debate.

Actually, from what you said I would say your belief is more akin to deism than atheism or agnosticism. The fact that you believe in a "higher power" at all sort of rules out agnosticism, which is more defined by the belief that we can't or won't know.
