HELLO! I'm back again with another review! Super Mario Bros 2! Ah..The memories The first time I played Super Mario Bros 2 it was on the Game boy advance.I was played it until I was 8. I checked on the Internet and it said: IT SUCKS! Boy was I dissapointed. When Sonic Adventure 2 Battle (Great Game!) Was Released here. (2002 And I wasn't born yet!)Now to 1988 BUT lets stop here and see the real SMB 2! So go to 1987 and look......... Wait what's that you may be asking. Yes there's a game called Dike Dike Panic and you'll be surprised YEP! It looks and sounds the same as Super Mario Bros 2! Now we shall move onto Super Mario Bros 2! So we start off outside a.....Floating door? And we have the ability to choose your character  and play! FINAL VERDICT. So I was happy playing the Game boy version and how do I like this?  Because it was all a dream from Mario's head.Goodbye and explore the land of Super Mario Bros!

I played Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic a long time ago. It's a fun game, but to be honest I don't really care that they turned it into Mario 2. No one cared about Doki Doki Panic back then, but they did care about Mario...

Sure it's different than Other Mario games but that doesn't mean it's bad. I like Mario 2 I think it's a fun game. Sure I don't like it as much as Super Mario 3, but very few games are as good as SMB3

I realize that this is over the 100 word minimum, but I'm still going to move this to Retro Game Discussion. Allow me to explain. Of the 175 words here, the only thing you say about the game itself is:

"So we start off outside a.....Floating door? And we have the ability to choose your character  and play!"

The rest is how you found this game, you enjoyed the game boy version, and then gave away the ending. The parts that counts as part of the review are the parts that talk about the game itself, so this is really only 19 words. I hope that makes sense. If not, you can talk to me about it.

I agree, Super Mario Bros. 2 is really under-rated. People don't understand how good the game is, they just care about the whole Doki Doki Panic controversy. Zelda 2 was different, and that was still well-received.

totaldramaman2 : Yeah I'm with you on this one. I don't get it. I think you can chalk it up to people saying it sucks because they heard from some online reviewer that it sucks because of the whole Doki Doki panic stuff. I mean who cares if it originally was something else? Would anyone have played it if it was still Doki Doki Panic?? Probably not...
