I have not yet read the books, so I do not know. My fiance recently read them all and loved them. She gave me a brief rundown on what it was all about and it sounds very interesting to me. If I get a chance, I will try to read that first book before the movie comes out, but I don't know if I will get the chance. My fiance wants to see it, so I am sure I will see it anyway.

I actually seen it last night with my brother, two sisters and their friends. I love the books and have been waiting to see the movie, which didn't disappoint. Not everything from the book made it into the film, which is understandable. The acting and cinematography were great. It was brilliant and I'll be going back and seeing a few more times for sure.

It was good for what it was. And that is a teen post-apocalypse book made into a movie. I can see it being something my high school English teacher would get us to watch and discuss the different elements and morals behind it.

It was entertaining, slightly predictable, but different enough to be remembered. Drew good comparisons to gladiators and modernized what we humans have done and are capable or rationalizing.

Verdict: Go see it.

I've read just about all the books. I saw the movie a couple of weeks ago. I was so hyped for that movie and I enjoyed the action that came with it. I read the books so I was kinda excited for the movie... disappointed by the casting for Peeta lol but I got over it. It was still a great movie!!
