It is surprising that an entire year has flown by since I first created my account for Vizzed. As the active members and staff probably know, I only joined because I wanted to play Pokemon game which I had never played a single one before. I the only reason posted in the Newbie Forum was that it was a requirement –or so I thought. Curiosity hooked my eyes onto the Vizzed Board and got me to wonder what this place is like. Although I had used similar things before, I had never been a member of a message board until I found Vizzed. I was quickly intrigued by wide variety of topics I could talk about and, likewise, surprised to see David in the chat rooms the first time I entered them. It’s just one of those things; you typically do not expect to see the owner of something be an active member like everyone else. Although I did play Pokemon for a while, I was also finding entertainment from posting on the board and answering any questions I felt comfortable with.

As time passed by and college took its toll on me, it was great to be able to go to a website to escape and be myself. The staff, as well as other members, have certainly made Vizzed feel like an online home to me. There is absolutely no way I can attempt to summon everyone I’ve met. The least I want to do is thank some people who I’ve been in contact with often. If I haven’t summoned you but you think I should have done so, then I apologize. Also, I can’t get myself to think of something special to say to every single person. Please understand I still a human like the rest of you.

icrazy - First person to send me a friend request, first person to add me to their friend list as well, and first person on my friend list to get a name change no less! It has been quite a year for both of us! Randomness in the chat rooms, spreading the craziness of Pokemon, and even pushing my enjoyment of it a little further. You certainly made your maark here on Vizzed.

Sun – What a year it has been. That chat room is a borderline insane asylum. Oh wait. That’s where your family is, isn’t it?

Super – Still have that dream of working for Sega? I sure hope so. I’d love to see you reach it! Say… thanks for pointing out the uncanny likeness of my username and my favorite tune from newgrounds.

Pac - You’ve been quite a solid member both in chat and on the board. Supposedly the first user to have a second account with a legitimate reason. The circumstances seem that way.

Gal – How long was it before you started posting? Now you’re… close to passing me. … Crud. Oh well. Just like with Smash Bros. and osu!, you’re quite the rival. Speaking of rivals…

#1 -- That was quite a battle to see who could reach 1,000 posts first, right? Well after that we both know who’s on top. Even without that, it’s great seeing you chatting up on all the latest topics. Keep posting and show those post count leaders there’s a new contender in town!

NJ -- I still remember when we first met and I showed you how to summon others. Do you remember? Quite some nice conversations we had in the Comet Chat, and it’s been neat seeing you writing reviews on here. Keep up the good work!

Smot – Before I met you, I would have never thought that an Atheist would have such a big interest in religion. Your posts challenge me to think about what I believe in, and that is important to a Christian like me.

Play – Like with smotpoker, it’s great seeing someone here who has such a devotion to learning and defending God’s Word. All the best in your studies.

Hey man, congrats on the first full year! It's really a big milestone in any community, but especially an online one like this, where it's so easy to get bogged down with real life stuff and just completely forget about it.

I think I should post here, because you mention all of these people who sort of shaped your first year on Vizzed, and I'm certain that when I do the same thing, I'll be mentioning you. You were, for whatever reason, one of the first users I started noticing consistently. So I guess what I'm trying to say is that your first year has been pretty eventful, and to new users you seem like a fixture here. At least to me.

Galacta : I have no reason to watch my back when it comes to post count. Seeing others likes leggy, Kenny, etc. compete for the top 5 and whatnot it a real buzz kill. Since the Memberlist now defaults on Post Exp., I am looking more into making big quality posts. So you better be careful!

thenumberone : The problem that I see with the Newbie Forum already is that there are too many people replying altogether. Sometimes I think people are only going in there for post count++. Ah well. This probably isn't the place for me to talk about it. (So why am I not deleting that statement?)

silverthundr : I can think of a few things to say to you at this point. Though it has been a bit of a trend over the past summer, you really flew onto the scene quickly. You have been, and still are, a local moderator. It really is great having you here, dude.

supersonic1998 : When it is not quite in the chat rooms, there isn't a dull moment. And I am glad you are still having fun playing osu! with me and Galacta. If multiplayer kept records of our games, I would be feeling rather guilty of it all. Lucario... Aura Guardian... Both are awesome!

AuraBlaze : I meant that I sent a retarded-sounding private message to legacy. It really did sound retarded. And, by the way, the video-review part might take a while, if it happens at all. My dad is against me downloading anything without his approval. Well, I showed him that Hypercam was safe, and had a good rating on CNET, and he STILL refused to let me download and use it. And, even though I have a 3DS, it has a lot of problems(like not recording sound unless it's very close or very loud), as well as having no editing whatsoever.

Congratulations on your first year! It went by so fast. I first saw you in chat, it's always been nice talking and learning from you. Here's to many more.
