Getting Super Mario 64 when I was around 4, then not getting past the chain chomp for another two years. Man those were the days...when I was bad at Mario...kinda glad they're over then again sad because there's no more nap-time.

The first Mario game I've ever played was also the first game I've ever played.
It was the first Super Mario Bros. for the Nintendo Entertainment System. I remember, back when I was 3. Every day, we woke up at like 5:00 AM and played it. Then, our Nintendo died from how much it was used... Those days were great!

First Mario game I played was Super Mario 64. I remember the Bob-omb King at the top of his little mountain. I also remember fighting Bowser and not having a clue how to kill him. I just threw him around randomly. Him hitting bombs was sheer coincidence. I never saw them as a kid.

It is Super Mario 64 because it has 3D platforming and excellent graphics. It was a success so they made a remake for the DS. I was amazed by this game.

My first experience at all with Mario was the 2 Player versus game thingy with the POW block... but the first game I really played I think was Super Mario Bros 3 for the SNES (via All-Stars). Gave me a really great impression of Mario, so I of course went and played the older ones. Not as fun as 3... but what can ya do?
