Who Else Hates The Ds like me? I find it very stupid. Oh and has anyone ever wondered what ds stands for well

So do you have any logical arguments for not liking the DS? You can't just assign random names to acronyms without being justified in them.

I like the dsi because it can hold music,photos and an Internet browser along with games.and yeah someone87 he doesn't have any thing to back it up on.

I kinda dislike the DS for the stylus.

I love the 3DS though.

I just strongly dislike it. I don't really like the games I don't like how people like it more than a game boy cause its more advance in my opinion game boy games (And every other system actually)have better quality as far as how fun they are plus I don't see why people think they are the best psps and ps3 are way better on psp you get internet, buy movies buy games buy comics, get free movies if you kno how, get free music if you know how, i cant but you can hack it with free games, take pictures, take videos, view the ps3 screen, call people, play games play internet flash gaqmes, and more stuff i guess im the only person that doesnt like the ds tho. i just think its a disgrace to nintendo products. also dont think the wii is great but it has some good things

Personaly I like the DS but there are games on it that make me dislike it.

You're trying to compare the DS to PS3? I think everyone's going to acknowledge that a handheld can't beat a console.

What do you have against DS games? Most of them are just different from Gameboy Advance games, each with their own little perks. Besides, if you love Gameboy Advance games so much, the DS Lite can play those.

On the 3DS, you can get Internet, watch movies, buy games, look at comics, get free stuff if you hack it, take pictures, take videos, view the 3DS screen, video chat with others in game, nearly everything that the PSP can do, really.

It's okay to have that opinion. Just make sure you don't start your argument by just making acronyms for it. I personally have not problem with it. I don't own one, and I wouldn't play it enough to justify every getting it for myself, but I play it once in a while if a friend has it or something. Some of the games are pretty fun, but some of them are kind of dumb.

I find the DS to be a very ingenious handheld. You can play games in genres that work best on a PC just as well on the DS, for example. The DS version of the first Zoo Tycoon sucked, but it controlled extremely well. The system's touchscreen allows for very accurate controls of games that would never have made it from the PC to a handheld in a smooth manner had the DS never existed.

The DS has plenty of problems like all game systems. Touch controls may not always work right in some cases. The touch controls may cause screen problems if you are too rough. I'm very careful with my stuff, though. I even had to get my 5 year old nephew to learn how to use a DS without tapping the screen in such a almost rage induced manner. Though, games like Pokemon Dash are screen killers no matter how careful you are. Luckily, I hated that game.

There's many other problems that it has, but these are, like every game system, just problems that can be ignored in most cases. The game library for the DS is fantastic. So many great games have come out for it. You've got some awesome niche titles like the island survival game series Lost in Blue(highly recommend Lost in Blue 2 if you want to check out the series.) and a crapload of awesome RPGs. There's even horror games. This system probably has the most varied library of games in handheld history.

I do hate how Nintendo made so many versions of this system. They could have stopped at the DS lite, but nooo. We didn't need the DSi. It's an interesting piece of technology, but it wasn't needed. The DS was making Nintendo tons of money, so why did they need to make two other versions of it? Why did the DSi end up replacing the DS lite?

That said, it's fine if you don't like the system. I don't mind. Not everyone will like the same thing. There's more than one person who doesn't like the DS handheld line. It's just that many people like it. I don't like the Wii much. I see how people can like the Wii, but my only interest in it is the fact that the larger Wiis can play Gamecube games. I don't like changing batteries when using a controller.

I don't dislike it, but I don't love it either. It has a lot of games that I have some interest in, but (don't flame me to death for this), the graphics are usually pretty poor. Yes, I include graphics in my judgement of games sometimes. sue me.  It's not like I wouldn't get a game with great story and gameplay just because of poor graphics, but I think that some companies just use the DS's low graphical expectations as an excuse to make a sub-par game with no effort in the graphics at all. And if you so much as mention graphics they go off on you like you are the enemy of games for judging graphics. Maybe I just want a nice, somewhat immersive, visual experience. It's not like I go around saying "eww that game has snes graphics, so you get a -14/10" But sometimes, I just want a game for a portable system that is fun, and graphically pleasing. Which is what the PSP offers. Anyways, so yeah, I like the touch screen, the controls are alright I guess, and there are plenty of games for the system that I love, like The World Ends With You and Tales of Innocence, and many others that will go unlisted.

I dislike the DS, like most handhelds. I've never been a huge fan of handhelds to be completely honest.

The DS is inferior to the other handhelds on the market anyway. I prefer the PSP to the DS and its thousand offspring.

The 3DS is also kind of lame. I dont see the point.

I never used a DS before but I don't like dual screens, one screen is enough. PSP was pretty good, but I got some buyers remorse and sold it within a week.

I mean, I prefer the PSP, but I use my 3DS for music and it does the sound pretty good.

It's a good handheld when you think about it, even if some games suck.

I dislike MOST hand held consoles...the DS included. For some reason these kind of games tend to bore me easily....I'm guessing it's the graphics and games in general.

The only hand held console worth playing to me is the Gameboy Advance.

I do have a DS Lite, and played most of the rest of the DS consoles and have no problems with any of them...except the Lite version, its pretty fragile to me, easy to break. But that's the only problem I have with it.

pacman1755 : I find the DS Lite pretty sturdy for what it is. Maybe I'm just too gentle with my games. The hinges are less sturdy on the Lite, sadly. Not sure why Nintendo didn't have a handheld that folds have sturdier hinges. At least it is just a minor annoyance.
