Vizzed has a Facebook App that allows you to play RGR games right on facebook:

Be sure to 'Like' the App and also Share it with your friends!

This will be great for when vizzed goes down, you'll still be able to play retro games! You wont be able to load or save your progress with the games in the app (I've got a separate app coming out eventually for that) and you can't play any of the RGR Plugin games with it but most of the java games are available within the app.

So what's the point? Well like I said, if vizzed goes down, you can still play some retro games. Also, for some people it's hard to get their friends to join vizzed but it's easier to get them to use an app on facebook so this is a great opportunity to introduce them to vizzed!

And before any complains about the look, I wanted to keep it as simple as possible and to keep the strain down as much as I could. Basically the app is on its own server which isn't nearly as powerful as the vizzed servers so therefore I wanted the app to use very little strain. It doesn't use a database and the game navigator is basically all client side.

Quick question,i assume that dosent require the vizzed plugin?

I tried running the Super Mario World game and it was lagging pretty badly. When it lagged, the music sounded awful. I'm not sure if the lag was from my computer or if it's a game that takes too much to run or something like that.

Other than that, I love this idea.

Nice! It's great better than I though, but it is missing one thing. I wish I log into my account to save and load. Super Mario RPG don't work .Over all, 9 out of 10.

I just checked out on it, and I have to say that it's fairly awesome. I'll be using it when Vizzed goes down, for sure.

I might be thinking about making an app for each system if this app does well (this app currently has all systems but making 1 for each might help drive in more traffic).

Well I knew this was coming.  I believe it was talked about during or after the attacks so I didn't think that it would happen any time this year.  I am simply amazed that you David has had time to work on this amongst the other things you must do to keep this site running.  Even though I hardly use my face book account I did add it to my face book and hopefully my brother sees it lol~  I'll ask him the next time I get a hold of him on the tellephone.  I have to talk to him about christmas anyway~
