Uprising, cause I'm a big Kid Icarus fanboy :3. I've been waiting expectantly for the game's release date to be revealed since E3 last year, and from what I've seen it plays great.
OoT is second, cause that's an amazing game whatever system you play it on, and I've heard the 3DS controls for it are great.

I say that you should get Mario. The game is not hard until you beat it and unlock the rest of the game. Then the S worlds will whip you into shape. They are the meat and bones of this title.

I think I'd get Rumble Blast just for my love of Pokemon, if I had a 3DS. I'm going purely off my N64 right now but I'd suggest Ocarina of Time. Great game. And I played Super Mario 3D land, and though it was pretty good too.

From what I've read Steel Diver is one of the best received games so far for the 3DS. It's still a fairly new system so the game library still needs time to develop. I suppose you could go with Super Mario 3D Land, I heard that was pretty fun too.

I voted for OOT because the remake looks like they did a good job brightening up the colors and fixing issues with the Water Temple.
