Hey, so what do you think is the worst Sonic level from the classic era? Nya~
This mainly focuses on Sonic 1-Knuckles, which were the main Sonic games for the classic era.
If I had to choose any, I'd say Oil Ocean Zone from Sonic 2. That level was so annoying to get past. It's the only one that could ever get me to use a continue, Nya~.

I would have to go with the Death Egg Zone in Sonic 2. I mean I know it's like the final zone and all, but why couldn't Sega at least give Sonic at least one ring before you battle Eggman and his giant robotic suit (which can easily kill you with one touch) I mean really... no rings equal instant death. What the heck was Sega thinking when they made that level.

I've played the first three Sonic games for Sega Genesis. I must say, I liked them all and enjoyed playing the third one the most.

The worst Sonic Levels in my opinion are the water based levels such as The Lost Land and Hydro City...it was irritating searching for bubbles just to breathe underwater. If there were no bubbles in sight, you'd die....that, I didn't like which is why I vote the Water levels as the worst.

Well I found Hill top zone out of sonic 2 to be rather tedious and boring...
