It's a happened a few times; I've allowed my younger sister to play either a cartridge based game which had my save files on it, or a disc based game with a memory card.

I wasn't surprised that she somehow erased every file(s) on the cartridges, but it did kinda annoy me that she wiped my memory cards clean.

[sigh] oh well, I was mad, but I love her and just walked away to blow it off....=)

Erm.. I haven't had this happen, but I'm guilty of it. It was technically MY game, but someone else and I had been passing it back and forth and playing on one account. For some reason, I made a new game, and they got pissed. I named the new account after them, but they were still pissed, even though it's my game. I've not changed the save since then, which is why I have a Pokemon TCG game with a completed game on it under my friend's name.

This has happened to me many times.  My mom would yell at me and make me feel terrible about myself just because I didn't want my brother to play my games. It's not that I didn't want him to at first but then he messes the saves up,gets rid of it or just  pretty much ruins everything I was working on. I swear he did it on purpose!!

I have held a strict zero tolerance policy towards allowing anyone to save when playing my games ever since I got into the Pokemon games. I might have let someone borrow a PS1 game at some point, but I don't quite remember. I always make it clear to anyone playing my games to never save without my permission unless I made a save file for them. I also will not allow anyone to play my Pokemon games unless they are ones I don't plan to play much.

See what Pokemon can do?! It makes a set of rules that Smogon would add. Imagine competitive Pokemon battles where you must tell yourself not to kick footstools!

omg it reminds me of when i left my pokemon yellow game inside one of my jeans pocket and then it accidentally got washed in the washing machine with them. after my mom found out that it was inside,(which she never really checks the pockets of anyones pants before actually washing them..), she told me about it. so then i tried playing it.... but it wouldnt work no matter wat i did! and i was so close to beating the game too! T_T

I've never really played the game, ever, since that happened. That's how bad it is when you lose your save file in a BOF game.

Not counting the multiple times this has happened with other games(luckily she only erased that game's data).

That wouldn't be a problem normally, but when he did it, I had beaten the Axem Rangers for the first time. That is near the end of a fairly long game (especially when you haven't beaten it before). The other time was when a couple years ago. I just started Kingdom Hearts and was to the part where you fight Meleficent (also my first time playing it). When I visited my mom and brother, I brought my PS2 to play it some more. My brother (little brother this time) asked if he could play it, and I said yes. I trusted he knew not to save over my file. But low and behold, he did.
