I never really used Shang Tsung.  I figured it'd be a waste to take the time and learn the moves to transform into different characters since I wasn't surprising the computer controlled fighter with that tactic.

I would say my least favorite is Striker. Honestly, I might have played as him one time. It also eludes me on whether or not he has appeared in any other MK games as a playable character since his first appearance in MK3. I don't remember seeing him at all anywhere else, and for good reason. He is just lame compared to everyone else.

I think Motoro is one of the worst characters. He's scary looking and fights slowly.

As far as the ones I hated playing as, I would have to say probably Shang Tsung in the old games, because the only way I could use him effectively is to learn the button combination to transform him into a character I know, and if I was gonna do that why wouldn't I just pick that character in the first place?

Plus there's a hole in the plot of Bo Rai Cho, he claims he can't fight on behalf of Earthrealm because he's originally from Outworld but Kano was able to fight on behalf of Outworld even though he was originally from Earthrealm

Shang Tsung. He was the main antagonist in the original mortal kombat but I find it hilarious how lame he is in the sequels. I never use him, the only way to describe him is completely lame. I mean, he doesn't even look threatening. And he isn't, he doesn't have any cool moves, he just kind of exists and does nothing but wish he was as threatening as he was in the first game.
