Of all the Sonic games (even Knuckles Chaotix) which is your favorite? Why?
Also, do you prefer Classic Sonic or modern Sonic?

The Sonic Rush games are by far my favorite Sonic games. They are tons of fun to play, and the more classic style of gameplay mixed with more modern things makes it even better. The music for both games are kind of annoying, but they still have some charm. The gameplay is extremely smooth, and the short levels don't feel too short. Sonic Rush and Sonic Rush Adventure are just fun games that I can play without needing to focus on anything complex.

As for which era of Sonic games I prefer, I prefer the modern ones, but I also like the classic ones. The modern ones simply interest me more. I grew up playing the first Sonic game on the Sega Genesis, but I don't find those Sonic games as fun as the modern 2D Sonic games. I like some 3D Sonic games like Sonic 3D Blast and the Sonic storyline of Sonic Adventure. I still kind of like Shadow the Hedgehog, but not as much anymore. Most 3D Sonic games are hit or miss for me.

Classic Sonic games are also hit or miss for me. The actual classic ones often aren't as fun to me. I consider them great games, but they aren't what I'd play often.

My favorite sonic game would have to be Sonic Adventure 2 Battle on the Gamecube (I think that is what it is called).  I would play it constantly and try to get awesome high scores.  I just remember doing a lot of things in the game.

For me, it is a tie between Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 for Dreamcast. For those who don't realize, these are the same games as Sonic Adventure DX and Sonic Adventure 2 Battle that were on the Gamecube. The Gamecube picked it up from Dreamcast. The reason is because the story is awesome and extremely well developed. All the Sonic games that followed these two games were just as fun as far as game play, but the story development was pretty much like they threw it all together the week before they had to finish it because they worked so long on the levels.

I would say Sonic Adventure 2 Battle is my personal favorite. I haven't spent a lot of time with the 2D games, so I couldn't really pick out of there. SA2 I feel has the best gameplay out of the modern games, and wasn't screwed up by weird gimmicks like the werehog one in Unleashed.

My favorite Sonic games are Sonic Heroes because it was the first 3D Sonic game that made a big hit and I really enjoyed Playing the game. Shadow The Hedgehog I liked it because it was the Same style of game play as Sonic Heroes but with guns. And I liked the Classical Sonic games on the Sega Genesis because they bring back good memories.

Mine is Sonic colors for the DS and wii,and I like both classic and modern sonic

Sonic for Sega Genesis of course! Sonic 1,2, and 3! Other than that, I liked Sonic pinball.

Adventure. That was the first Sonic game that I had ever played and I loved playing it. I just could not believe that it was all in 3D. Back in the day I thought that it was real.

gotta agree with you, sonic 1 is 2nd tried playing a couple others but it was awsome when 16-bit was new and Sonic ran with it.  Holy Craholy that was a freakin pun.

I love Sonic 3 and Knuckles.

It's my favorite Sonic game, even though it's a mix of Sonic and Knuckles and Sonic the Hedgehog 3.

My personal favorite Sonic game of all time must be Sonic Adventure 2: Battle for the Nintendo GameCube!

I spent many hours with my precious chaos, listened to its awesome soundtrack and its just downright awesome!

I'm a big fan of the first Sonic the Hedgehog for Sega Genesis, but My favorite to play was Sonic the Hedgehog 2, mostly because in the second one I was able to press down to duck and then spin my character to gain speed.  In the first Sonic, I had to run fast and then press down on the D pad.  So,  SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 2!

It wasn't a very challenging game, but I did enjoy Sonic Heroes. Adventure 2 Battle was interesting, but the Knuckles/Rouge parts were annoying and the rest was too easy. Sonic and the Secret Rings was possibly one of the dumbest games I ever played (I haven't played ET yet).

Probably the first one. Or shadow the hedgehog not necessarily because its an amazing game but its a childhood game.
