I just realized that Legend of Zelda - Skyward Sword is not even out yet.  I thought it was out like 5 months ago or something like that.  I am so surprised about this because they have been talking about this game a while back and I just figured that it was kind of like Twilight Princess so I decided not to try it out.  Then I decided now that I wanted to try the game out, but I just found out it is not even out yet. Does anyone know when it will come out or did anyone thought that it was out the whole time?  I am so confused, I hate it when they talk about a game and it has not even been out for about more than 2 months like Kid Icarus Uprising on the 3DS.  It is not even out yet and they announced it somewhere in March or April.

Well, Skyward Sword is the next big Zelda game, so of course there will be a lot of hype about it. It's first appearance was actually back in 2009, when this:

famous image was released for the public to speculate on.

Skyward Sword will officially be released in North America on November 20. That's only a couple months away, so if you want to get the game, you better pre-order it now!

It took so long because they found a glitch in the 4th dungeon so they had to remake the game and check for other glitches throughout the game.

It's called hype. They try to get you so hyped out for a game that you are about to die before the game is released. This is working on you but for me I have more or less forgot about it. I still know it is there but I do not know if I am all too hyped for it. It will come out and I will get it though. Regardless of quality.

I bought a Wii specifically for Zelda and Metroid. Those are the only franchises worth anything as far as the Wii goes. It's basically an overpriced paper weight. I have a PS3 so there's no need to even turn the Wii on until a new Metroid or Zelda comes out. However, no matter what issues I have w/ the Wii, I will purchase any Zelda or Metroid game regardless of cost. Can't wait till Nintendo is back on top so I can tell Sony to shove it.

I don't know the latest news about Skyward Sword, but last I heard the reason it was taking so long for release was because they were localizing it for a global release--that is, they want to release it in every country they plan to sell it in at once. It HAS been an awfully long time though. :/
