The Legend of Zelda series is a good series, but it's not really my thing in most cases. I like Minish Cap, and Zelda II, but the ones people herald as the best Zelda games like Link to the Past just bore me. I might like OoT, but I doubt I'll find it to be the best game ever. The Zelda series just has too much dungeon crawling that I find frustrating oftentimes.

It's not that I hate dungeon crawling, or something that's more like comfort food in how it often changes little in the basics. I just find little incentive to complete a Zelda game. I like the setting, and everything, but the few Zelda games I've played were either okay, or lost my interest. Phantom Hourglass just enraged me after I had to revisit the same dungeon just to progress the story. It was fine up until that point.

Minish Cap is my favorite of the series. It has a good sense of humor, and is quite fun. I have trouble liking A Link to the Past enough to try to beat it. I can see why that one is so beloved, though. I never really got to try any of the console ones outside of Zelda II.

It's a series that is quite good, but just not one I enjoy that much. I have tried a short demo of OoT, but didn't get any time to let the game sink in. It seemed like a fun game, though.

I love the Legend of Zelda series. It's the vast amount of exploration, intricate puzzles, and sometimes interesting story that get me to play most of the games. I wasn't a huge fan of the DS ones, but I really liked the games like OoT, TP, and MM.

Zelda is a really good game but in my opinion I think is better Mario bros

Yes I agree this is one of the best game series in the world. I love all of the games in the series. I can not wait for the new games that are coming. I am really looking forward of them.

It's an actual challenge which at times I find very frustrating, but it's still a lot of fun.

Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask are my favorites.

I love the Legend of Zelda series, it is one of my favorite, if not favorite, franchises. It seems most games are so different so that it can appeal to everybody.

tankman1017 : The games are way better than Phantom Hourglass, believe me. Check out some of the GBA titles like Minish Cap. The series is huge on dungeons, so I can understand why you aren't a fan of it. I don't really consider the storyline to be the best, personally, but hey, I just look at it from what it was when it came out.

Minish Cap is the best one I've played in the series. It's way too big on dungeons, though... So is A Link to the Past. You could try out the console titles like Windwaker, and OoT. I'm not a rabid fan, as I never was a huge Nintendo fan. I just like to give people suggestions for games they may enjoy if they didn't enjoy a certain game.

I don't like Zelda's huge dungeon thing, either, but I'm very open to this type of stuff. Oh, and if you want something that's a challenge, check out the sequel to the first Zelda game. I forgot what it was called, but it came out as the second Zelda game. I love the more action RPG style of it, personally. If you like to go though less dungeons, this still isn't gonna say much, but it has less emphasis on dungeons due to it using the ever so popular grinding levels thing to lengthen the game. Yeah, cheap, but it's an old game.

You can get OoT(Ocarina of Time) for the 3DS if you own one, or get it off the Wii's virtual console. I haven't played it, but I hear it's a very good game. Always worth checking out these classics out of curiosity.

Yeah, LoZ series is definitely really good, I love playing these games, so yeah, I agree. LoZ is awesome

I totally 100% agree with the title The Legend of Zelda series is the first series I rembere ever playing during the time of the SNES days. Well the first video game that I remebered I have ever played for that matter.

zelda is awesome ive played and beat most of em several times and still go back for more lol
