Though I'm not sure if they're are any hacks to do this now but back when I had game shark this was possible in R/B/Y/G/S games.

I think out of every Pokémon in every one of the Pokémon games I've played, my favorite to start out with is probably still Psyduck. Yes I like using the stupid duck, get over it.

I'd love to start out with a Rayquaza.
But to make things difficult, it would be interesting to start out with a Metapod/Kakuna/other useless Bug-type that can't do anything but Harden. I'd really have to rely on catching common Pokemo if I wanted to do anything, and starting out without an attacking move would be extremely difficult.
