No, I don't mean people dying, the circle of life, all that stuff.

I mean them saying they can't wait to get old and die so they'll stop working so hard in life.

My dad frequently says this, and each time he does that, it breaks my heart. Each time he says that, I hold back my tears so I don't show that I get deeply disturbed he wants to die now (No, he's not suicidal, but he wants to stop working so hard in life.)

Yeah sometimes I must say, when my mom is enraged she just mumbles ......about death...once died no people bothering you...[But I can understand her sometimes, because no family(dad side) at my place like us, never ever].....All life being good to people and they back stab you....But what to do this is life we have to cope with.

Well it depends..... if you count him talking about taking a life, like my family and mine, then yes, my Dad often talked about death when I was growing up. Did he ever talk about wanting to die himself? Not really. He would often say; "If I'm going down, I'm taking everyone with me."
