Probably not completely. I've watched many survival shows and techniques, but it's all theory in my head... When it comes to actually doing it I have no clue whether I'll be able to do it.

Honestly,the river water cant be drunk,the mosquitos carry malaria,the parasites poison you,and the big cats/bears/snakes eat you.id be dead.
Id probably try climbing a tree(i know,theyre massive)and burning something at the top in the hope it would be spotted.
If that failed id try to find a tribe,but apparently many of them kill trespasers so yeh,99% sure a gorilla would use me as a toothpick.

The easy thing to do is just not wonder off in the jungle in first place. But if I was stuck there and really hated it I would just start a forest fire and send every creature in my path running At least its a better idea then trying to fight off a gorilla with a stick.

Not only is it pitch black because the thick plant life let in pretty much no moonlight. There are a lot more venomous things in the jungle, and a lot of them come out at night. Depending on what jungle, you can get eaten alive by huge ants that spread around at night. If you stumble on a gorilla pack, good luck not getting torn apart by the alpha male. A lot of people who are experts of the jungle get torn apart when they are alone, so I don't stand much chance. I might be finishing school to be a biology teacher and know HOW to survive, not knowing the landscape and exactly where the dangerous animals are makes my knowledge a lot less valuable.

I don't know how to look for food, how to save water, how to make a shelter, where to go, none of all that survival stuff.

Even the most well-versed survivalist can easily get knocked off the food chain if things don't go his or her way. Sure I can make a shelter and a fire, and I'm pretty good at trapping, but there's really no guarantee. It depends on where you are.

I really don't think I would, but I have ALWAYS, ALWAYS wanted to learn survival techniques.  I think I'd have enough sense to feed myself correctly, but other than that, I'd be clueless. There's just too much that I'm sure I'm unaware of.  I mean, I might be able to find some leaves to drape over some branches, but I'm sure that type of shelter just won't do.
