Some profiles have way to much going on with graphics bouncing around which causes a lot of the links on the page to be unclickable.  I'm fine with people changing the way their profile looks by replacing the background graphics and such because that's pretty cool but when you've got stuff on your profile which causes issues with the page, than there's a problem.

Why are we judging here?  THey like all the action, the movement, the blocky screens, the confusing set-up and lay-out.... but that's what they like.  I don't know that you should decide you don't like it and change things.  If it completely messes with the page, okay, I see it.  But using "annoying" isn't nice.  Call it busy.

There's no accounting for taste, sure, but instead of wiping things out, try this:

Disable animation.

I can see what I want to see without dealing with them.  Is that available?  Let them have their bouncy stuff.  it doesn't seem to affect me.

However, those two are staff members for example. David needs to be able to access their profiles for various things. As such he needs to be able to use it.

Things that float around are annoying period. Do you like going on sites with things floating all over and boxes popping up left and right?

Its just like with post layouts, if they interfere with the pages display or elements then it should be removed.

yeah, there is a difference between creativity and annoyance. Some things are annoying and inconvenient. What septembern did actually interferes with his profile page. That doesn't really work well.

The only thing that annoys me about septembern's profile was all the stuff backwards, the scared yet image and that raining Viz

UserMikes however just got a bit annoying with all the stuff going on like the cursor and the ps2 link at the top.

I think all users should be allowed to do is have a custom background and maybe so colour edited links as long as it's readable.

No weird graphics going on everywhere else. That could get annoying.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.
