What is your thoughts on this? I personally like it because if it could happen it is a nice change of pace as opposed to the crazy ninja manga. I think my favorite would probably be Bakuman.

Ninja manga isn't the only thing out there. There are manga like Clannad and Lucky Star which are pretty much as close as you can get to real life. No magic powers, no epic quest, just students in a normal school.
