Which one do you think is better? I prefer windows because it's the only one I use.

I would pick windows because to its the best one I use.

Windows. Software that gets made usually has the Windows version made first.
Example? The RGR only has Windows currently.

i think windows is better, because u cant mess around with the software or improve the hardware on a mac (without totally ripping it apart and seriously distroying it and stuff).

Windows is better because it's what I use and been using for years.

out of these 2 windows,mac sucks.
Out of the top 3 though linux is the best,its gaining ground fast and every supercomputer uses it.

Well, I'm a Linux person, but if I used a Windows, it would die.* I hate how everyone says Windows is best just because they use it. If you look at the specs, windows has more programs and is (probably) easier to program for, just for the sheer fact that more people use it. This is possibly the reason there isn't an RGR plug-in for Mac. Macs' software is difficult, because Apple's way is the only way on a Mac. However, the Mac comes with a better creative suite, yet you can get better software for Windows. Most Source-Forge projects work on both, as with Linux. For Mac AND Linux, you can get WINE, a (not) Windows emulator.** I have a problem in that no-one makes programs for Windows 98, or hardware from that time. I have a computer all to myself, and it uses a Pentium III processor with 900-something Hertz (processing power) and (I'm guessing) 512 MB RAM. I can only run older programs. But anyway, you now have my ten cents.
*My family did some tests. If you go on Facebook and just click on the stuff an average person might (without a firewall/virus protection), it can lock up within five minutes.
**They insist that it is merely just a compatibility layer, but it runs 25% or more Windows programs. Also note it runs the Plug-In on Mac and Linux, but you have to install Win-Java.

For me, it would have to be Windows. I have tried liking Mac but just can't.

Windows. I would be lie-ing if I said mac. I hate them so much just because I can never get them to work. They are not very good.

I use windows and I always have. But I have wanted to try mac once to see which one is better.

I tend to prefer Windows just because I'm into PC gaming. If I wasn't into gaming, I'd probably be a Mac user.

Windows is obviously better as far as applications and games.

MAC is more durable and I like its system structure better. Mac also has a lot better setup options and displays then Windows. Mac looked like Windows 7 six years ago and that says a lot so I think MAC wins when it comes to user interface and options that are easy for anyone to manage.

My mac has lasted a very long time and it use to be very fast. Now with the new technology its really slow but definitely not as slow as a PC computer from the same date.

What sucks about MAC though is its lack of support for things. IE was discontinued on it and being a web design/developer that is something that is constantly needed when you got clients who say its not appearing right in IE.

I never liked MACS especially the ones they had in school back in the day that were round and looked like a beetle car. Those computers completely sucked. iMac G5 was by far the best computer I've ever used besides the Windows computer I'm on now. So my advice is if your going to get a Mac make sure its a good one and not one that is really outdated.

My mac had a built in WiFi and my current Windows computer had none so that is one other advantage Mac has.

I should also mention that the processor for my mac was outdated (wasn't an intel) and what sucked was a majority of new applications for mac were not supported with my outdated processor.

Mac wins when it comes to lifespan, so far its the longest lasting computer I've ever owned and I've owned about 5 windows computers before it including sony viaos, hp's, and some others I can't remember. 90% of them all died within a year of use but my mac still lives till this day

Windows, by a long shot. Macs are just a pain to work with, and my elementary and middle schools used mainly Macs, so it's very annoying. Fortunately, there are quite a few Windows computers at my High School, so it's better.

i had a windows laptop for awhile and before a windows desktop. both crapped out on me. i don't push em hard but i used them a lot. i got a macbook for my last laptop and it runs so smooth. also it allows me to do much more in the way of video and music editing/producing. sux that RGR isn't out for it though :/

I like macs but everything isn't made for mac is Linux a option
