I honestly don't know how to answer this one....

Well, I guess it depends on the manner of "my death". Am I afraid of being harmed until death, yes. Am I afraid of a natural death, not really. Now I am afraid of losing close family members to death. Or losing my pets to death. But as for myself, it just depends on the circumstances.

This is the sort of question that can go in both directions, and making us think how real the idea of suddenly not being around influences the mind of one and another.

People are first afraid of dying when they learn that one day, people will simply die. Some people take this reaction from silence and fear to think about it, to others undergoing some sort of paranoia that influences their rational decisions for the rest of their life.

It is natural to be afraid of death, being one of those circumstances that has the capability to change the lives of many people by one death, and those people however they react to this one persons death, might make those lives that are already hurt worse, or let them slowly heal their wounds.

To simply state, people are naturally afraid of death, but they dont let this fear control their lives, as they soon realize everything good must come to an end, and accept that fate one of the numbered days. Natural death is something to not be afraid of, but immediate deaths, such as a gun shot to the head, a serious car collision, or a snapped neck is when people truly fear for their lives, especially when they have mere seconds to avoid this fatal ruin of their lives.

It depends on the circumstances. If I were some old man than I wouldn't mind it, as it is inevitable and everybody does it. If it were a life-threatening situation, than yes. Since I do not believe in an afterlife and I know that is the only life you have and the only chance you get, I would try to prevent it to the best of my ability.

It's not that I am afraid of death, it's more like I am afraid of not knowing what's going on in the world and how my future kids are doing..I am more afraid of never being able to do anything anymore, and how the world will change without me being able to see it. First of all, being the religious person that I am, I believe there to be a higher plane of existence that I will move on to once I die.
