I believe I joined the board at first because my friend recommended me to it, meaning I would only have to download one plugin for thousands of games. I liked the idea and decided to join up. Then I made my newbie thread, and a whole bunch of other crap happened, and well, lol, here I am.

I found the site because of the RGR - was looking for old skool games to play online.

Turns out that I'm now the manager of the RGR and Rgr Staff. For good reason I believe - I don't think anyone else can fill my spot - hope that doesn't sound stupid, it just seems that I fit the spot more than any other staff right now.

The retro game room was very cool. I mean all those classic games for just a couple of Viz? It was a dream that came true.

I came because I was looking for the first Mario & luigi game (so the RGr) Then I got addicted to the boards as well. So, yup,I come here in the day for games and at night to post on the boards.

I wanted a place oat play all the classics and relive my childhood like it once was

I just joined because I wanted to play the wide variety of hacks. and heck did I get more than what I wanted.

The main reason I joined at first was to play Mario Kart 64. In the next few days, I was into all the Pokémon hacks and anything else that I wanted to play.

At first I joined for the same reason I think the majority of users joined, for the RGR.

I didn't even realize a lot of what the site had to offer until a good month after I joined the site.

Once I started posting and realizing some of the things you could do on the site other than just play games in the RGR I was pretty much immediately hooked. Ever since then I spend a good portion of my time on vizzed.com in both the RGR and the forums. Once I saw the opportunity to review games I knew that it was right for me.

I think my time spent on the vizzed forums is really helping me improve as a writer, which quite honestly, I'm not all too good yet, but I really try to get better.

When I first came to Vizzed, I came here to play the games in the RGR. And once I saw there were forums, I started posting in those as well. I have always loved posting on message boards. So basically that's the reason I came to Vizzed.

Mainly , I came here for playing the most known / played game here in vizzed , the Pokemon Emerald game . Then , I realized that you can make your own forums , threads and posts here in vizzed . So , I decided to do more posting and making friends than playing Pokemon , Mario , or Zelda games .!
For short , I mainly came here because of the RGR ( Retro Game Room ) section !

I joined mainly because of the RGR. That was some time ago, I was only 11 years old.

I was actually looking to play a game which I hadn't been able to play for about a decade.  I knew it had magic in it (and I don't play games with magic in them any more due to religious reasons), but I figured if I could find it somewhere, maybe I could find a game like it that didn't involve magic.  I didn't find any such game, but I DID find this site.  I stayed for two months with only an interest in the games, but then I discovered how wonderful the forum users are, and as I begin to develop a new set of online friends, I enjoy coming here for new reasons.    It's been wonderful to become part of an online community again, and one that doesn't tear me down because of my religious beliefs.  Thank you SO much vizzed users.

I first found out of the site from a friend I play online games with. I host a game on BYOND (Build Your Own Net Dream) as well as play a few others and a friend popped on the game I was hosting. He was asking general questions about the game, and I asked what made him want to try it. The game I was hosting was a Dragon Warrior fan-game. He said he found this site called vizzed and was busy playing through the Dragon Warrior series. Curious, I searched the site and was pleased with what I found. I started just looking through what games were available and was pleased to find some interesting hacked games. Also found some games I had missed out on when I had the systems, such as a Tiny Toons game I heard of from friends, but never had the opportunity to play.

I did not register at first, because I did not realize games did not save when you closed the program (I just left them on anyway). I also was not aware of the game limit since I concentrated on one until I finished it. But I found myself annoyed with the Tiny Toons game since if you died at a boss fight, you had to redo the entire level all over again. I wanted save states, so I registered. Then I found out about how vizz currency worked so you can "buy" games as well as other accessories. I figured I would post around on the board wherever an interesting topic would pop up. Besides, my other forums I usually visited were running slow at the time, I could use some other source of socialization.

In essence, I use the board as a time waster; any time I want to read or comment on interesting things, I am here.

I just wanted to play Fire Emblem...after i got interested in some threads and now i enjoy posting and replying to things.

I joined vizzed because I saw so many good games

I joined the vizzed board at First to play the old nine do and Sega games which now if you try to find those games now these days, The game would be classified as rare. Most out of the way stores have them. But it is like finding a diamond in a land Field of coal. If you  or the other members on the vizzed board  can understand that old saying
