I bet some of you are doing a double-take as you read the title, eh? Well as an addict to electronics Vizzed is not helping me, but that can all change. I want to limit the amount of time I spend on Vizzed for various reasons. You will still find me here often, but the time I spend here should have more meaning to it if I can get more important things done at the same time --metaphorically speaking. I am open to any suggestions whether they are limits to the amount of posts I make in a day, what time of day I log on, or even a rewards based system where I complete this or that important task and earn the ability to make so-and-so number of posts. As I said, I am open to any suggestions and I encourage others to follow along if they feel the need to do the same. Oh the irony of making this thread!

well when I had taken a short break from vizzed I had baseball games like every day so I actualy had no time for it if you can get involved in exersize sports or even board games do that instead of being on vizzed

What you can do is keep a couple of friends accountable for whatever goals you set to keep your time limited at Vizzed. I don't know what your personal life is like, so I don't know what I could suggest in terms of limitations, but once you set them, I could help you stay within them.

And don't worry about sounding silly about making this thread. A lot of people have the same problem and it's good to get help every once in a while.

Well in my opinion you are not on that much... then again I made a whole entire thread devoted to my addiction to vizzed so really it is I with the problem!

Just get on from 3-5 PM. That is the only time you can get on.

AuraBlaze : The problem is actually coming back after you been here for awhile. So many staff members just suddenly going inactive (or disappearing) is annoying for everyone, especially Davideo7.

You should think before applying for a staff thread. Do not make things troublesome when you get the job, then suddenly going inactive.

If your problem is that you want to stay away from Vizzed to do something else yet you can't. You need to be more dedicated on what you want to do.

If your problem is that you think that if you stay away from Vizzed you would do something more useful yet you love Vizzed a lot and you do not have any idea of what to do. You should just stay. I believe that being happy is more important then being useful (this is discouraged to believe though...) .

A reward and punishment system might work well. Say you set the time limit and follow it for a while, then maybe you can add on a little time or something. But if you don't follow the set time then you would have to punish yourself in some small way. Possibly not getting on for a day or a decrease in set time.

You should do what I did, well accidentally did.
You can find a pet or buy a pet ( I found a stray cat, named him Canuckuls, Now he stays with us likes to play ALOT ). During the day time, you can go outside and play with your pet Dog/Cat/Turtle ect.. And have fun, and during the night you can get on Vizzed for about 1 - 4 hours tops since its to late to go outside and play with your pet. It's really fun and also a time waster so you can have fun AND get it over fast so you can get back on Vizzed. I love my kitty Canucklus. We got him yesterday and I know he loves me back. :3
