...of course it got cancelled the gaming group that most people make games for are the FPS fanboys so of course capcom will most likely get rid of megaman for resident evil and make it into a FPS...i'm gonna miss megaman

Well it's not like there won't be other Megaman games But i'm sure they'll start this one day again and hopefully for more consoles than the 3DS. But I was looking forward to how this game would turn out .

I was really looking forward to this game, it sucks that it's cancelled. I never played any megaman legends games, only battle network and star force, but I still really like megaman, and I was planning on getting this game. I desperately need a new 3ds game. I guess star fox 64 3D is right around the corner though.

Capcom is one of my many favorite game companies of all time,but cancelling a Mega man game is just a big let down  the fans of the series

Legends was a good series... I used to own the first and still own the second. Sure the games weren't perfect by any means but they were still very fun action/RPG. Even though I will never own a 3DS, partially to the blinding headache caused by it and partially to it being a Nintendo console, I am still sad that the Legends series is over.
That series is one of the series that introduced me to RPGs.

Okay Capcom, that was dumb. Not only did you cancel Mega Man Universe, a game that showed some promise, but you string us along with promises of MegaMan Legends 3, a tie up to all the questions you left at the end of Legends 2. You even set it up so that fans from both Japan and the US can help design some aspects of the game! You had tens of thousands of people contributing and voting on what their favorite designs were. You even made it exclusively for the 3DS, something I'm sure Nintendo was happy about. Any self-respecting MegaMan Legends fan who played the first two will be dying to play the third, and will buy a 3DS to do so. And you even promise a prototype version, one that's not a demo, but a small prequel to the full game! And for free!!! And then you cancel it, crushing the dreams of thousands all over the world. Real smart Capcom.

big fat cat : They're killing Megaman. All they're going to do now is release Megaman 6 on Wii VC and make Megaman 8 with classic graphics, unfortanutley. I wish they would release the game sometime, or maybe put the demo on the 3DS eShop. But that probably wpn't happen. I'm just crossing my fingers for Megaman 11...

Personally I'm more upset they aren't releasing the Squeal to the Edgeworth game outside Japan. In fact, I'd argue a game being released but not in your region is worse than it just being cancelled. It's like Capcom is telling me, "Oh, we got it, but YOU can't play it! Better move and learn a new language!"

Megaman legends was never my thing, but I have Megaman 9 on the wii and Megaman 10 on the 360. I like the classic series. But with capcom messing up pretty much everything they touch these days, we'd better start hoping Nintendo or someone buys them before they can destroy everything good they've ever done. Heck, I'll take Activision over them now!  Ok, maybe not that far yet...

Not only to mention megaman universe that also was cancelled...and i was REALLY excited about that game...
They better stop pushing the bulls*** switch and recognize megaman. I dont think he even made it to marvel vs capcom 3 or the "Ultimate" version!(someone correct me if i am wrong...)

Megaman pretty much built capcom and now they act like he never exsited! That´s unfair to most of the capcom fans and you know what...they are going to release megaman as a first person shooter! I´m not even kidding,that´s really what i think will happen since everybody only cares about the next call of duty or the new battlefield which always gets the new most sell record and capcom will jump on that train!

Before I pretend to be angry about this,what was this game for? ps3?
