The critics have spoken: OoT3D is the best Zelda game ever! But what do you think? Is it better than the original? I think it is. It has:
  • Easter eggs like hints to puzzles and artwork from previous and future Zelda games
  • Better graphics
  • Full advantage of 3DS 3D and tilt technology
  • ...A lot more!
It's true, the new game is excellent. I saw an hour's worth of footage on a fan site, Zelda Dungeon. This website also has excellent walkthroughs for every Zelda game known to man.
But what do you think of the new version of the classic game? I think it's better, mostly because I don't have an N64 so I have to play OoT on this website, and the controls are awkward. But what do you think?

I don't know, I haven't played it yet. I'm sure it's exactly the same as the original except in 3D. I wonder how that looks. I suppose being that it's 3D the graphics are more realistic..other than that I expect it to be the same.

When I saw this game, I thought to myself  "sure, a game can be good, but it can't be that good, can it?" So I got this game just to see how good it was. *goes away and plays it for 5 minutes* Do you want to know how good it was? It was love at first sight! Just seeing the title screen was enough to convince me this was a good game. And in 3d as well! After seeing the opening sequence, I loved it even more. Even when it's not in 3d, it looks spectacular. I'm sure if I had played the game when it came out for the 64, I would have loved it all the same. This game is....well, amazing. Truly amazing. 1 hour in and I'm at Death Mountain. Sounds like a nice place. The gyro motion works well because you feel like your link, looking where he's looking. I look forward to playing this more.

I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to play this at school today when my friend brought it over.

To be honest, it's not the 3D that betters the game; you can hardly notice it when you're playing. What they did do was remaster the graphics so now it looks much brighter and they made several interface changes (such as the map on the bottom screen) that makes the game a lot easier to play. Tilting the system in order to shoot is a nice little addition as well. Lastly, after you beat the game, you get access to the Master Quest, which is a much more difficult version of the original game. So yes, it's much better than its predecessor in every way and is a lot more awesome than awful.

Any epic classic is awesome with updated graphics. If we know Nintendo there should be extras in the newer version of their games, I'm sure everyone will love it just as much as the original.

I love Ocarina of Time for the 3DS!! It's the only reason I bought the 3DS really, but I also needed a new DS because I have the very first one. It's cool when you get to move the DS to shoot and the graphics are amazing in both 2D and 3D. I like having the map, inventory, and such on the bottom screen, makes playing the game so much easier than before. I already beat the normal game and am on Master Quest. The whole map flips so you have to remember to go the opposite direction when moving around. It can be confusing if you don't remember the flipping. The story is just the same as always. It reminds me of all the time me and my brother spent on the N64 playing the original.

I tried it "Ohh cool........" put in the closet with the rest of the rusty games. But now I actually downloaded some games from the store, bought some games like OOT and starfox3d, It's actually pretty cool
