So, it's time for yet another VCS.

However, there is a slight change coming to the VCS and I'm wondering what people think. What I plan to do (and the staff have already talked about it somewhat) is to have the VCS every month from now on. Make it slightly less serious of a posting competition and more just a tracking system of who is posting the most every month. I'll come up with some unique prizes for people and the winners will still get the custom titles related to placing in the top 5. What I want though is for this to be less of a spam fest and more about just posting on the board and having fun.

So, good luck to everyone. The competition starts at 12:00 AM June 1st board time. That is about 14 hours from the time I post this thread I believe. I'm 1 hour behind so I'm having to factor my time in too

Also, I'm putting this in the your forum because the general chat forum is so a bit too full of stickied threads.

BNuge : yeah, same format as last time.... that isn't changing.

what is changing going forward is that I plan to do these every month. I'm not trying to ruin the specialness of the event but rather I'm trying to make it less spammy. People get overly excited when the VCS comes around and they go crazy on the board.

this is my 7th? I can't remember. I think it's that high now.

Like the one in February... I don't stand a chance. I don't have the free time to post enough to actually win, or come close. That's okay though. I've won 2 and placed well in 3 or 4 others. I'd rather let everyone else post til their fingers fall off trying to win

Ah, exactly what I've been waiting for...I have about 24 notifications I was going to post in , but I'll just wait till after 12:00 am Eastern Time. For the most part..I should be participating and OWNING this VCS as well. Good Luck to everyone...

well, the top 5 get the custom titles.... but I plan to make some fun rewards for other people based on how many points they get, or how they get points.... just kind of as it goes sort of thing. Some people get 2 points a day consistently.... sometimes that sort of thing is fun to highlight. They are consistent even though they aren't blowing away the competition.

This should be interesting. I'll join in on the fun and I'll do my best not to make it too spammy. Having fun is all that counts.

Here's some motivation to get you back to posting a bit more often. Last VCS you showed up partway through. You could probably take this one if you do as good as last time.

I like the idea, it stops the heavy competition, and just makes it part of routine, so it's good.
