I like Baraka the most. He is not too easy to use like it is a noob prone character to spam with, neither is he impossible to use effectively like hard special moves. His character looks like it is some mutated Wolverine!! Some people say that Mileena is the female version of him. I can see where they are coming from because if you see her without the mask, she is no longer sexy!!

My vote is for Shang Tsung because you can play as everyone.

I seem to play best as the huge teethed monster, Baraka. His move pool is easy to learn and on the Genesis port of Mortal Kombat 2 his fatality is easy to pull first time as well. I managed to get better and better with Baraka until I could beat Mortal Kombat 2. I said he was easy to use but that is only his move pool you have to know how to beat your enemy and find the weak spots and when against Ai you cannot just spam the same combos they actually learn and begin to counter your cheap attacks.
