My dad is who I got my eyes from. Brown. Same with my brother. My sister on the other hand got hers from my mom. Straight up blue. Not surprising really, since she looks as white as a normal white person is, minus all the tanning she does (mom is white). Must be genetics based on gender in my family. My siblings and I are all half-black, but you would never tell with my sister, which I think is pretty cool.

Well, given that blue eyes is a recessive gene, I had to have gotten the blue eye allele from both parents. If I got the other allele from either of them (the allele for their eye color), I would have brown eyes. Also, you can't get your eye color from neither of your parents (at least your biological parents).
