Yeah I agree that smeargle is the worst, it just doesn't know anything useful whatsoever, all it knows is sketch and it doesn't do anything but draw the other Pokémon. Uknown is the most pointless pokemon. There is 28 different ones just for fun and they are really weak in battle with hidden power as there only attack move. There stats are the worst of all fully evolved pokemon. Also, they were  pointless in the movie too, and haven't even served a purpose in the anime.

I think the most pointless is Magikarp. Sure, it eventually turns into a Garydose, but only if it has an EXP Share, or if you keep giving it rare candies.
