I have been stabbed in the leg before, and it is not very fun.  I did it to my self on accident, but it really sucked.  I put my knife about an inch into my upper thigh and had to use a cane to walk around for a few weeks.  I don't know...does the kick to she shin break my leg?  if so, then I would go with the arm wound.  I have been kicked in the shin before as well, and it hurts pretty bad.  I would have to say the arm stabbing over all though.

Would you rather stay alive by eating and drinking your own excrement, or just give up and die?

I would say both as that would seemingly work better. As I understand it the original intention of the character of Link was to be a blank slate in order to represent the player so it would make sense to have a female version of it as well (even if I think Linkle is a stupid name) at least in those games. Though I guess I'd also be in favor of character customization then which wouldn't really make either of them remain the same character.

Then again Link has sort of become his own character in later games being given somewhat of a personality in some, for example in Wind Waker, so doing so at this point seems wrong. Maybe just include her as the female replica of Link and make her have the same personality and let the player choose who they want to be at the start of game.
