One could argue that the experimentation on Wolverine, specifically, was very inhumane. They basically injected molten metal onto his bones, lol.

Axe, because 1) I would need two hands to hold a giant sword. 2) I can hold a shield or other items in my other hand while using a axe. 3) axe is just a more solid weapon for me and I feel I can attack quicker with it.
