I have chewed a crayon at least a couple times, not sure I swallowed it though as it was a long time ago. I have eaten Play-Doh, glue, dirt, paper, Kleenex, and probably many other things that are not meant for consumption.

I still eat crayons. It is a good snack. Your body can't digest it, so you don't have to worry about calories or gaining weight. Win/win in my opinion.
