There are a few hacks of yellow, if you were interested, but I doubt nintendo will go back to it, since they remade soul silver with yellow's following technology. It's unfortunate, but I think they just want to move forward now.

I say they make at least 3 more regions before they quit.

yoshi2010 : I actually know the story behind missingno. Did you know that Kangaskhan was originally supposed to be a part of the Cubone/Marowak line? It was supposed to be the final evolution, but that idea got scrapped. How missingno fits in with that is the fact that they actually had part of the data programmed in for that evolution chain before the ideas got overturned. Instead of deleting the excess data Gamefreak simply stuffed it in a 'seam' somewhere. Problem with that was that Gamers are very innovative at finding glitches.

Basically, missingno is the 'link' between Marowak and Kangaskhan that Gamefreak did away with.

POKeMAD : I don't know why, I personally lost all interest in the show a LONG time ago as it simply got old, boring, repetitive and the fact that Ash, a 12 year old boy, had a voice actor that vastly exceeds his characters age.
On the subject of the ending of the series I think that Ash will win some major tournament in dramatic fashion and walk away into the sunset, pickachu by his side.
Finally about the hype, in America I believe that it will not get very much, a 90 second recap of the life of the series on the major news networks. G4 T.V. will mostly run specials for a long time to come and it will undoubtedly dominate the most popular shows for at least one day. Other than this I don't think it will get a whole lot, maybe there will be some coverage on the, sure to come, surge in game and merchandise value a few weeks after shows final end. Personally I will be ecstatic when the show comes to an end as it has dragged out WAY longer than it should of. The Pokémon show has become the poster child for "milked classics" in my opinion and I will be glad to see the butchering of my childhood wonder put to an end.

DARKANINE : As far as I know, IV's are completely random. You can use an IV calculator to find what your Pokemon's IV's are as soon as it's born, but just because a parent has high IV's doesn't mean a child will.

mike345 : I think the answer to that is pretty obvious. No.

POKeMAD : Short answer, no. Long answer, they keep screwing up every plan they have in some way shape or form. Couldn't they just get smart and actually train the Pokemon they have? Or at least escape in something more creative than a hot air balloon. Really, if it wasn't for the fact that the balloon can break so easily, they would've gotten away so many times.

NintendoPower24 : I don't remember them actually ever confirming that. It's a big debate right now. The release of a Pokemon Grey or whatever is plausible, but I don't think they'll be remaking R/S/E. If you think about it, those games have come out too recently on the GBA to warrant a remake. It would be better to wait until the next gen or even after that to release a 3rd gen remake.

Bcooler : They already have run out of colors. They're just doing the most abstract things they can find now. Next, you'll be seeing words like "Clear" or "Opaque" or "Mustard."

DARKANINE : Actually, IVs can be bred. It's pretty tricky to do right though, and you need special hard-to-get items to do it. All of the items you need are in game though, so you don't need to go to events for them. The items are:

Power Weight--HP
Power Bracer--Attack
Power Belt--Defense
Power lens--Special Attack
Power Band--Special Defense
Power Anklet--Speed

If a parent holds one of these items, the offspring will inherit the matching stat from that parent. You can do this with both parents if you want to as well. Also, regardless of whether or not you use these items, the offspring will always inherit a total of three IVs from its parents. However, the most IVs an offspring Pokemon can inherit from its parents is 3, and which IVs are completely random, and from which parent is also completely random unless you use these items.

You can get these items with BP earned in the Battle Subway. They are prizes there. I think they're 48 BP apiece.

Also, if a parent holds the Everstone, the offspring will inherit that parents' nature (I.E. Adamant, Jolly, etc..)

Someone70 : ^ + It's impossible to calculate IVs at level 1 with any degree of accuracy. I've found that the lowest level needed for even a ballpark number is level 10, and you need about level 30 to have a good idea what that Pokemon's IVs really are.
