It's very uncommon for me. I often have posts with over 100 words. I don't even do that thinking about the reward, it just happens. I use very large explanations in real life, and often will be very deep in a subject. I can go on for hours about examples of such little things as character archetypes or guitar chords.

It irritates me so much. Some days to avoid the pain of hitting my head on my hand, I will use word count to make sure my post is not dnagerously close to a milestone. With my luck though, this post will be 99 words and I will hurt my head.
This happens to me quite often sadly. I think it's happened like 2 or 3 times where I cam up around 5 letters short. It really is irritating if you think about it.

That's only happened to my once. As a matter of a fact, it happened yesterday. I had 98 words, and then I was like:
"Oh noes! I almost got ten extra viz! Oh well, it's only ten viz, it's not that big of a deal." Then I realized that I forgot to put something on my post.

I've never had exactly 99 words before, but I know the feeling... I've had between 90-100 words before and faceplanting into my keyboard after I had hit submit about three or four times before...
