Totts : Which type of bear are we talking here? If it's a black bear, the gorilla stands no chance. If it's a grizzly, I'd have to opt for the gorilla. A brown bear would probably get his hat handed to him. A polar bear would be a tough fight, but not even ol' South Paw could take on Donkey Kong.

If the bear is panda, I think the ape is going down. Pandas have crazy powerful jaws, like they're furry hippos or something. In the case of a sun bear, however, place all your money on the gorilla. I believe the primary prey of sun bears are bees.

Totts, you deserve a round of applause. This topic is far more interesting than I would have expected.

I feel like the terrain of this fight might be important. Like if this is in a river, the bear has a real advantage. In a jungle, the gorilla would have the upper hand. Where is this fight going to go down?
