That was a pretty tough one, as Britain has churned out the greatest bands. How does one choose between The Beatles, Black Sabbath, Queen, or Led Zeppelin? They're all legends in their own rights.
So, that's why I chose The Sex Pistols. They're definitely not the best, but you've got to love the fathers of punk! Or at least I do... Them and The Stooges. There's no disputing, the Beatles are the best rock band ever, and will remain at that position forever. All of their songs are deserving of an encore, it's insulting to the British nation if you say that the Beatles are "honorable mentions", because the Beatles are and have made the British rock bands that currently rest on this list, I bet you none of these guys would exist today if it weren't for the wonderful power of the Beatles.

I like basically all the bands listed there, but my favorite is Pink Floyd. I just love most of their albums and know more of them than just Dark Side Of The Moon and The Wall, they rock and they're the best band ever in my opinion. The Beatles, Queen, and Iron Maiden are my three other favorites from this list. |

I definitely agree. They're my fave Brit band by far. Their songs definitely very catchy indeed and are easy to sing along to. I love to hear the oldies on the radio, and hearing The Beatles on the radio can make my day. -------------------- |
