Which is better yugioh or spin off yugioh

I would have to say the spin off since they have little motorcycle things that yugi didn't have.

Original Yu-Gi-Oh. I hate the little motorcycle things and the first series was just better in terms of storyline.

The original for sure, I loved when Yu-Gi-Oh was about YuGi, not Jaden (liked that show too, but I lost interest slowly after the 2nd season.) or that motorcycling loser (He actually always loses) who calls himself a duelist.

The original series of Yu-Gi-Oh are way better. They had better story line and they made me biting my nails,lol

the original was just greatness. It Was extremely different at the time it was made. Because all that was out was pokemon.

I was a Yu-Gi-Oh! addict for 4 years straight. Nowadays, I'm on and off. It all depends on if my friends want to play.

if by that you mean which is better the original or gx/5ds then i would have to say that the original was the best of the 3 w/o a doubt.

Original gx was ok but I still liked the original Yu-Gi-Oh!

All of them are good in their own way.

I'd have to say the original Yu-Gi-Oh was waaaaaay better. I don't understand the point in GX. Once they got rid of Yugi and the Pharoh, the series should have ended. It's not Yu-Gi-Oh anymore if it's about someone else.

But for me, the original series died after the Battle City Tournament. I didn't like the Orichalcos season very much. it had its moments, but for the most part, I didn't like it.

I did like when they started airing episodes about the Pharoh's life in egypt, though. That was cool.

i say original YGO since card-games on motorcycles is one of the dumbest ideas i have ever heard of, and so was a school dedicated to teaching people how to play children's card games. also i consider the abridged series original as well, since it is taken from the original, hilarious.

Original. Yu-Gi-Oh used to be awesome, now it's...meh.

The original had a much better plot than today's Yu-Gi-Oh, but now those who play the TCG are on a more level playing field. Originally, if you had certain cards, you were almost guaranteed a win. New strategies and the banning of certain cards made up for that.

5Ds happens to not always have motorcycle card battles. Even when they do, it's not like the duelists are killing old ladies. They put themselves into a suitable zone for these things, and the main character has a deck for on foot duels. And a deck for the ones on motorcycles. I watched the show for a few episodes subbed. It's not as stupid as the Little Kuriboh video makes it out to be, or the simple way of explaining it. The spin off is an acquired taste, anyways. I enjoy the tone of the spin off. Many don't.

About the whole getting rid of the original characters thing... The spinoffs are different stories. The original Yu-Gi-Oh! had an ending, and we'd just get a highschool anime afterwards if it stuck to the original.

Well, I'll have to say that the abridged series are the best, seeing as they were just more intresting and not concentrated so much on modern gadgets.

The spin offs were a disgrace to the series I wish they had continued the old series I would have kept watching.

KlawedFlaw : ok so they do have battles on foot as well as on motorcycles, i still stand by card-games on motorcycles are stupid, but putting all that beside, i saw a few episodes, and something that basically slapped me in the face about it was that a police officer, in order to attempt to pull someone over, had taken control of their motorcycle, and forced the other person to a card-game...... if i forgave everything else about the show, this would still piss me off, why would the police override a motorcycle and challenge them to a card-game in order to pull them over, when if he already "hacked" the dudes bike he could shut it off or pull it over or something similar.

there's my concern if not for the card-games on motorcycle.

I don't know if you already read the original manga, but just was showing this. That cop was a bad cop, and really, the 5D's spin-off is set in a world where a certain area is filled with slavery. Um... Slave + Cop + Slavery being legal = bad

Not forcing the spin off on you, just saying what I think.

Also, again. Think about the result of the old Yu-Gi-Oh being continued. It HAD an ENDING. Yami returned home. Yugi HAD NO YAMI. Everything was resolved, and all that good stuff. You'd get a boring Japanese highschool herem thing if it continued. Is that the Yu-Gi-Oh you were hoping for? Yugi gets shown in freaking GX. The original characters are not in 5D's for a reason. That was SET IN THE FUTURE.

I prefer the original Yu-Gi-Oh!, but use logic when you think a continued original second series Yu-Gi-Oh would be amazing. It'd suck. Why? It'd become a high school drama. Just make fan-fiction if you want to continue it. Read the manga. Watch the original show. You don't have to bother with these spin-offs. It's not like you will get anything out of them if you hate them. I don't like Dragonball Z. I've tried to like it after getting bored of it. What did I get out of it? Nothing.
