I never do, unless I have a message and the person isn't on, the Chat Bar is much better. I don't have to wait to get a reply, instead it's much quicker and much more productive.

I use them a fair bit still. It's much easier to deal with people via pm after banning them rather than having them chat live on the chat bar.

Plus I find it hard to type out very much in the chat bar with the way it is right now.... it could be a bit wider ....
