FF XI. The controls were horrific, and I could never get anyone to play along with me... I was alone virtually the whole game. It wasn't all that fun to me anyways... I don't like any online games... Except maybe RuneScape every now and then... But even that gets old.

Anyway, FF XI was the worst to me.

I think all of them are overall good. So the only criticism I have is on the Legends series because of the boring battle system, due to the obvious lack of graphics being original Gameboy games.

I'd take Mystic Quest over FF8 any day. I'm a power leveler, so the entire xp system just drives me crazy. The same goes for the gil system, I like earning gil for battles. How does the garden still pay you once it's destroyed? I also don't like the way the guardian forces worked. I played a ton of triple triad, used the card mod and had ridiculously overpowered characters the entire game, which wouldn't have been so bad if the story wasn't so completely stupid. Time compression? Give me a break. Everyone all being related and growing up together and forgetting about it? I just hated that game from start to finish. I only beat it just to say I beat it.

Haven't played XI, so I can't make a judgment call on that. But FFX sucked monkey poop. The idea that only certain party members could attack certain enemies made me rage. A LOT. As in , there were just characters I never wanted to use. Plus, Tidus is even more irritating than Edward, and I thought that was just plain impossible.
