I think that the worst invention ever created was the guillitine. Because it was rarely used against criminals, but innocents.

I agree with noelia and fightorace with Advanced weaponary being the worst invention ever. We simply do not need those things and sure they might save lives of the country using a nuclear weapon but at the cost of killing thousands of people (including innocents) to whom ever the bomb is reached!

The understanding we now have of atomic physics is way ahead because of the atom bomb....

I think everything in the world has a good use and a bad use (or a range of good and bad uses) and it all depends on how we choose to use the knowledge we gain that truly matters.

I agree with Mabus that religion is the worst creation ever. Think about it. It starts wars. It makes people kill other people. If there really is a god somewhere out there, is this what it would want? No. That's why I think more religions is a bad thing instead of a good thing. If people just kept their beliefs to themselves and not try to impose them on others, that would be one thing. But think about WWII. Hitler killed millions of Jews and other people because of religion. And the War On Terror right now. Religion does much more harm than it does good, period.

Also, nuclear weapons are a very bad invention too. I don't like the fact that my state or country could be nuked and wiped off the face of the earth, thank you very much.

Its hard for me to think of a actual invention that is bad. Most are created to make something easier.

I don't think religions are the worst inventions, most started out with good intentions. But they have definitely changed over the years into something that has been warped by people who want to use it to their advantage.
