I have no idea what the game will be like unless I play it.
The graphics are a little nasty but what more bothers me is that the game is a downloadable episodic game rather then a full game on actual disks.
That there is the real thing that is off putting.

I gotta say this game looks like it is gonna be the bomb. In a good way. I've always enjoyed sonic games. The graphics look really nice. I wonder if I've played a demo of it. I know I've played a demo on the X-box 360 of a sonic game. Can't remember if that was the one.

Yeah I think it'll be a hit. I'm not really keeping up on graphics engines but it looks like it's cel-shaded 3D, so it's a better remake than, for example, Mega Man X7 & X8 where they killed the the game with the 3D polygons.

I loved Sonic 1-3 as a kid and this looks like it'll be just as fun (though I wish they would've stuck with the 16 bit graphics). I agree that Sonic should ALWAYS be a side-scroller game like this, the only good 3D sonic game was Sonic Adventure for the Dreamcast.
