I went from having a SNES to a Playstation 2. I guess you could count SNES as the first game system we owned, but I really started playing when we got a PS2 for Christmas.
My parents weren't interested in buying games or systems for me, so I didn't have any games or game systems such as N64 or PS1. I didn't play those until looong after they had come out. My firdt console was the original NES. 
I remember having the Karate Game, Super Mario Bros., the Duck Hunting game, and DuckTales.
I love the DuckTales game. It had a rockin space theme. Then I gave it to my cousins when we moved to another place.

My first console was N64. My brother brought it over one day and said I could keep it. I had no idea what video games were at the time so when I plugged it in and played it I was hooked. My first console given to me when I was 10 give or take was a colecovision. I thought it was awsome. Many hours wasted away on donkey kong jr. and 49ers I think it was called, a gold rush game. Those I remember most. Then nes blew my mind a couple of years later. I know it's only supposed to be the first one but i'm on a roll, Then Sega Genesis, Snes, N64, PS1, gamecube, and now xbox360. My first console was a NES, but it was my Mom's, so it didn't really count. I had Mario 3, Zelda (Limited test cartridge, now valued at $1,000, too bad I lost it), Ice Hockey, and Duck Hunt/Mario 1.
In 1999, I got an N64, my first actual console, and I loved it. I had Super Mario 64, Perfect Dark (My first M rated game, awww, cute), Donkey Kong 64, Goldeneye, Dr. Mario 64, Pokemon Stadium, Pokemon Snap, Pokemon Puzzle League, Ocarina Of Time, Majora's Mask (Gave me nightmares), and Diddy Kong Racing. Now I'm hacking into that N64 and portablizing it.

I received an NES when I was 4 from a friend of my dad's and got about 20 games with it, including a ton of classics. After I got an N64, I sold the console with the games for $10. I have hit myself over the head (figuratively) so many times for that decision. -------------------- |
