Out of all the great SNES games, my favorite would probably have to be Mega Man X. I always loved Mega Man games, and Mega Man X had better graphics and it was a much more fast paced game.

The innovative ring menu system makes item navigation unique. And, outside of the game, it's easier to access the game's multiplayer capability than ever before. Secret of Mana's colorful characters and environments give it a look all its own. A marvelous soundtrack, perfectly representative of the excellence of Square's composers from the early '90s era. An action-RPG design that still stands out as unique and fun. Its support for three players at once makes it a blast to play. The multiple characters let you take a different role in subsequent playthroughs, too. An awesome game it is.

My 2nd favorite is Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars.

Incredible. Fans were wary when it was first announced, but Mario's world translated beautifully into role-playing form. Great story, great characters, great game.As one of the last SNES games to be published before the Nintendo 64 took over, Super Mario RPG took full advantage of the system's 16-bit technology and looks great. I have to say that Mario RPG's soundtrack is spectacular and a joy to listen to. Mario's platforming gameplay is translated here into a new perspective, and matched with an innovative, timing-based battle system. An excellent combination.

I have to say that my 3rd choice is Super Metroid.
