Personally, The hardest one for me was the second one, dunno why though? It was just hard.

I haven't played all of the Megaman games, but for me the hardest one was the second one.

.... Really? MegaMan 2? I found that one to be the easiest by far.

The hardest for me was MegaMan 1. Being the first game, it had no standards and was no-holds barred. Also, no E-Tanks.

If we're including hacks, then the hardest becomes RockMan no Constancy on hard mode.

I would say megaman 7. Had alot of trouble beating Dr.Wily.

The first Megaman game is the hardest one for the NES and the second one was not that hard

The hardest one for me was Megaman 4. I don't know, maybe it was because that there were spikes EVERYEHERE in that game or the fact that I just felt draine after beating the RMs and played lazily in the castle levels. The easiest would be Megaman 1. Come on, it might not have E-Tanks or a password system, but it's a cakewalk, mainly because it's short and the finalboss is easy. The only trouble I have now is fighting the last 4 RMs in a row with no health pickups in the final level.

Megaman 2 is a very hard game I never got to beat it I didn't play it for long though.

The hardest MegaMan-esque game, period, is Megamari. The enemies and bosses are INSANE, and the game is designed purely against the player. Even I can't beat more than two bosses.

My pick would be Mega Man 4, because there were spikes everywhere!!! (The first time I was playing it, I thought at some point of the game, they would actually put spikes right below you when you just begin the level!)

that's an easy question to answer.
hands down it was the original.
especially since i didn't know about the elec beam trick for a long time.
i could not beat the rock monster (yellow demon) until i learned about that.
the first place i got stuck in the game was guts mans stage with the trap door platforms, next it was those stupid random helicopter platforms and if you got shot you fell right through them.
and then in dr. wily castle 1 i didn't have the mega beam or board or whatever it was called, to climb up to get to the rock monster.
ugh!
i remembered being so frustrated that they would make a game that impossible, until i found out otherwise.
lol.

For me there's no contest with MM 2. It just was for me than all the others, and I couldn't count the times I died on Quickman's stage.

The first one is the hardest by far. I still have trouble beating Elec Man All of them are pretty hard though.

Of course I would have to say Mega Man 2 since I always had trouble with the Quick Man stage that level was always a pain to get though the lasers I know probably some of you have had trouble getting past that part.

Second part of the lasers I end up sliding the other way by accident right into the lasers when I get confused on which way to go it's fun when I do that and the Heat Man stage with the moving & disspearing blocks.

You have to go across a huge pool of lava usually you can use the invisibility fram to your advantage to jump back onto the blocks if one is close enough either wise you'll die when you become visible again it's annoying.

I do agree the first Mega Man is the hardest Ice Man stage I had troubles getting by like they say practice makes perfect if you can't get it on the first try in that stage as I said before like Heat Man's stage there is disappearing blocks your timing has to be perfect or you fall right into the endless pit of death.

They were all really hard for me. I would say the 1st one because I've tried to beat that one the most.

probably megaman 9 for me.. i dont know why i found that game so hard but some of those levels were ridiculously hard to get through...

Megaman No Constancy gave me some problems but the game itself is pretty fun. Some of the songs are from the megamanzero games and I like the other music in the game too.

to me the hardest mega man game is every game but mega man 2 for the nes

mega man 3 is hard in my opinoin it just owned me until i tryed really hard

I'd have to go with Mega Man 7. I don't believe I've tried Mega Man 2 yet, though.
