No way. I totally couldn't. I think they did some kind of test or something and they proved it wasn't possible. Maybe I just heard that from a friend or something though.

I can't sneeze while my eyes are open, then it will get watery.

Some people say it's to prevent their eyes from popping out of their head. No, they won't literally pop out, but professors say there are other reasons as to why people close their eyes when they sneeze.

Scientists at Cambridge University in the UK have discovered that blinking when sneezing is a subconscious reaction given by your brain in order to prevent bacteria and debris from making contact with your eyes when sneezing.

No, it isn't possible. if your eyes were open when you sneezed, your eyeballs would pop out of your skull. (No joke) and so, I'm sorry to say, but no, and this is actually spammy nonsense of people trying to look cool.

I can agree with that statement, but I find it hard to believe something flying from your mouth or nose at around 100mph is likely to simply turn around mid-flight and curve back to your face.

It's funny, because I was trying to do this about 5 minutes ago, but I wasn't successful. I can't do it no matter how many times I try.

I think logically, no one in the world can. Just my opinion though, ot sure how true that is but from what I've gathered, it's physically impossible.

I thought they did some kind of scientific experiments or theories or something, and it would be possible for your eyes to pop out if you sneezed with them open. I don't know for sure though.

LOL. I read everyone elses answers and despite what they all say... how it's impossible and if I say "yes" i'm "trying to look cool". Well it's not about looking cool but i'm almost positive that I NEVER close my eyes when I sneeze. LOL, I wish I could sneeze right now to prove it to myself. I mean why would I close my eyes? That's like doing extra work during the sneeze. And when I get allergies and stuff sometimes I sneeze over and over and over but i'm still able to watch tv or do whatever i'm doing. I may have to post on this topic again next time i have a sneezing fit.

No, that would be impossible, they actually did a test to see if it could happen, but they said that it couldn't happen unless you held them opened tightly.
