I always check the older threads especially in the sections that I mod. Best example is the pokemon forum coz it has the highest amount of duplication issues among them.

Lol. This has been a good way for me to get the information I wanted, cuz it tells me that I've been a bit too thorough in making sure I'm not copying threads. Cuz yeah, I kinda had a phase where I checked EVERY thread on EVERY page to make sure I aint copying... Thanks goes out to all the mods who scared me to death! (You know who you are Lmao) Lol. Earthworm Jim is another good one. I seen someone say that and I think the same. Earthworm Jim is a classic and deserves his spot in the SSB series! Theres no doubt in my mind. He would have some cool moves and it would open a door for maybe putting a few of his foes in the game as well.

I skim the other pages sometimes...
But most times, I am lazy to look through it like the long threads that have like more than 20 pages filled with posts. Then I feel like wow. But most of the times, I just look through it, especially when I am bored and maybe want to see what the people think about the subject on the thread. So, maybe most of the time, I look through, but sometimes I don't.

Zeldisater : I think an old thread about "who should have been in SSBB", I think I seen the thread before, I will update when I find it (I may need to SKIM THOUGH THE 1st PAGE  )
P.S : I did what JusTReal did before in the updates thread, however, I edited my post shortly after. And I still don't know how old the thread can be when you can't post in it anymore (3 months old?). But, as unfrequent as I post on pages 2 and beyond, I still do it sometimes, when the first page doesn't have much on it. Well, at least this thread will somewhat encourage people to 'look beyond the obvious', and look beyond the first page. So there is some good to this situation  ..

Depending on how many pages of posts there are, I just read the first page and the last page usually. And also if the topic is really interesting to me, I will read more. But so far the first and last page technique hasn't backfired on me yet. -------------------- |
